Callin goes for Top Fuel licence.

22nd February: Swedish Super Comp racer and two-seater dragster driver Susanne Callin is to make licencing passes in a Top Fuel Dragster in March.

Eighteen-year-old Susanne will be driving Knut Söderquist's 'red' Carbon By Design Top Fuel Dragster which was last driven by Alan Jackson in a demonstration race on Malta late last year.

"It will be a giant step to go from Super Comp to Top Fuel Dragster, but Susanne has made one of these big steps before when she stepped up from Junior Dragster to Super Comp at the age of fifteen", says Susanne's father Gordon. "Right now we don't have any sponsorship contract signed, but that will hopefully be solved later next month. We are paying for Susanne's licence runs with the money we earned from selling what was left of the crashed Super Comp car, so we would like to take the opportunity to thank all the people who bought almost everything which was reusable from the Super Comp dragster, and to all the people who put money in the can at Santa Pod after the crash."
